Shasta Jade Lynch is an Australian ceramicist who primarily makes wheel thrown pottery glazed in soft colours that are reflective of the local landscape.

She also enjoys exploring different firing techniques. She recently constructed a small wood fired kiln that is powered by fallen branches and can be fired in one day.

Shasta has been a full time ceramist for 5 years and prior to that was a veterinarian. She was initially self taught and has since complemented this by studying with different teachers in Australia and abroad.
